With EasyPhP running on your machine, you should be able to run any PHP/MySql based scripts. Now you can hack any aspect of Wikka and test on your own machine, without risking breaking a working website. And no need to ftp files to test changes, just save to the EasyPHP www folder. Once your satisfied with the changes you made, you will have to rewrite some of the links before you upload it to your server.
Easy PHP is not an exact representation of a LAMP sever. It is close, however you will occasionally find things that don't work quite the same way on your server. But as a development tool, the benefits far outweigh this drawback.

EasyPHP∞ installs a limited, pre-configured server on your machine. It works pretty well in the standard configuration, however it should not be used as a live, production server.
